About Me

Hello! –

I was born and raised in Somerset, in the South West of England, which means my voice is a cross between a hobbit and a farmer. I originally studied and trained in digital media, moving image, film and video. About 3 years ago there was a shift in film-making equipment from larger HDV Cameras to smaller DSLR Cameras with the ability to shoot video (but essentially a stills camera). After making this move across I began to snap simple photos, but then quickly merged my love of fashion and creativity and set up a small photo shoot in a scrapyard with a local hand made bespoke dress maker, and the rest as they say, is history.

I am now a multi internationally published fashion photographer, including a front cover in international magazine Vintage Life (August 2014), I also recently became a multi-award winning portrait photographer in the SWPP 20 x 16 print competition, winning Avant-Garde Portrait Photographer of the Year, and Overall Portrait Photographer of the year. I am also a fully qualified, licensed & insured photographer, also member of 2 professional bodies, the BIPP & the SWPP, I am currently in the process of applying for the next grade level qualification which should take place before Summer 2015, I look forward to progressing and am constantly trying to improve my work to be the best it can be.

Photography for me was a hobby at first, which quickly became a career, I always work with high-end Hair & Make-Up Artists, top designers, bespoke individual clients, and individuals looking to upgrade their portfolios. I try to put my stamp on all of my work, whether it be the colour grade or deep & captivating look in a subjects eye, these are all my nuances, my chance to outwardly manifest who I am as a person. Looking at my galleries now I think you can really tell my style of work, and that is why I hope people like to work with me and achieve great results, I believe in consistency, I love what I do and hope I always will.
